Native Malay Translators
Remote
We are preparing for a large-scale upcoming project that will involve voice recording, transcription, and translation across major European and Asian languages. To support this project, we are actively expanding our network of experienced native linguists globally.
In this post, we are particularly looking for native Malay translators to collaborate with us on a remote, project-by-project basis. We welcome native Malay linguists working in all sectors and fields, including business, legal, financial, technical, automotive, and other industries (you must be a native speaker).

Responsibilities
- Accurately translate content from English to Malay (and/or Malay to English).
- Proofread and review your own translations to ensure they are culturally appropriate, well-written, and aligned with client requirements.
- Work proactively with project managers regarding workload, questions, or clarification needs.
- Follow project guidelines, utilize relevant glossary/terminology databases, translation memories (TMs), and other reference materials, and deliver assignments on time.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the code of conduct across all assignments.
- Be responsive, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Qualifications
- Native Malay speakers.
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in languages or related fields.
- Strong command of written and spoken English. This is a must. Additional proficiency in other source languages will be a plus.
- Proven translation experience/expertise in key industries in Malaysia and Singapore, such as financial, banking, fintech, logistics, aviation, maritime, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronics, and IT, will be a plus.
- Being familiar with CAT tools, translation memories, glossaries, and standard translation workflow.
- Ability to follow style guides, terminology requirements, and project instructions.
